Join the mission

It is our prayer that God would use the ONE mission to unite us as a church in an effort to reach our community and the world with the life-changing message of the Gospel. These are the ways YOU and your family can join the mission.

  • Pray

    Ask God who He could use you to reach in your life. Maybe it's your next-door neighbor, a friend, the waitress at the restaurant you frequent, someone at school, a co-worker, a family member... Who is someone in your life who doesn't know Jesus? 


    Grab a ONE card from the foyer at church and write down their name. Commit to praying for that person--that they would come to know Jesus in a life-changing way. Pray that God would give you opportunities to speak truth in love into his or her life. Pray that they would see Christ in you. Pray for the courage to speak up. Pray that God would soften their heart and open their eyes to His truth. Pray that God would change your heart and help you love them better and reflect Him clearer. 


    Pray that you would see people the way Jesus sees them. 

  • reach

    Always start with prayer, but prayer is not a dead-end. God uses prayer in mighty ways and our prayers often end up changing us and making us more like Jesus. Suddenly He becomes more than a Sunday morning thing. He becomes everything and we can't NOT share Him with those in our lives who don't have the same hope and peace and joy that we do in Christ. It might not be easy at first, but pray for the courage to act on the opportunities that God brings your way (and for the eyes to see them!). Then reach out! 

  • give

    Take a look at your finances and be praying: What could you give up to give sacrificially to the ONE mission--to getting the church ready to welcome and disciple those whom God brings to us? We've almost met our financial 3-year goal in 18 months (Praise God!), but the giving doesn't need to stop because our work isn't finished until Jesus returns. You can give a one-time gift, an annual gift, or a monthly gift. Generations before us have sacrificed for the sake of spreading the Gospel in our community and in our world. Now it's our turn!

    There are so many opportunities to serve in the local church and as we grow, our need to unite in service grows as well. We want to challenge you to discover where you can best serve the church! For more information, please contact Cathy in the church office or fill out a SERVE form located in the church foyer. 


    As for the renovations side of things, in an effort to save on labor costs, we will be doing some of the work ourselves. There will be opportunities for you to join the mission by helping us in this way, too! More details to come. Please contact Cathy in the church office if you would like to offer to help here.
